Portugal like Spain, on paper, is still strongly Roman Catholic. But in real terms it is becoming more and more secular. Many have turned their back on the church and are looking in other directions for fulfilment and meaning.

Samual & Emily serve in Coimbra.

"both have a passion to see young people transformed by the gospel through university ministry. They are working with the GBU in Coimbra to pastor, teach and train students from the bible."

Joel & Cecilia serve in the city of Vila Nova de Gaia, in the north of Portugal.

"We are are currently serving the Lord in our local church. Joel is the Pastor, and Cecilia does a lot of admin work and leads the women ministry."
