At the beginning of 2021, Henk and Hanneke Knol and their four children moved to Sevilla to start a longterm ministry to spread Jesus' message of love, forgiveness and mercy. By living among the Spanish people as a Christian family and by investing in relationships, they want to let the Gospel shine. They want to open their house, be hospitable and share their story with others.

In the Bible we read a lot about hospitality. The words of Jesus inspire us to serve the people in Sevilla through hospitality. "An argument broke out among the disciples as to which one of them was the greatest. Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he took a child, stood him by his side, and said to them, 'Whoever welcomes this child in my name, welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me, also welcomes the one who sent me. For the one who is least among you all is the greatest.'" (Luke 9.46-48, Good News Bible)

The project in Sevilla focuses on:

- building relationships with people (believers and non-believers, Spanish and non-Spanish);
- building a community that follows Jesus in words and deeds and that gathers in different places to strengthen and encourage each other to be active in the Kingdom of God;
- a man/woman growth group (vulnerability, faith, relation);
- reaching people through discipleship;
- reaching people with hospitality by being an “open home”;
- counseling and coaching of locals.
