People want to be heard, but not only in words but in their needs. They want someone to whom they can open their hearts without fear and share their needs. We can be for them their "ears" and bring them to Jesus.
People need to be heard; they have a great need for someone to stand with them, pay attention and understand them. Nohemi has had many experiences throughout her life of people, even the 1st time she saw them, for example on a train, who have the fear of being rejected, not being understood or accepted. Even believers fear this. For all their life and problems, the simple fact is that people need someone to pay attention to them and listen to them.
