It is with great pleasure that we can finally announce that ECM Australia has appointed a new Executive Director starting on 1 January 2025.
Rob Petrini
Rob was born in Australia to migrant parents from Italy and Egypt, and grew up speaking three different languages. His wife, Monica is from Mexico and grew up in the US. Rob has family living in three countries across Europe.
Rob grew up in Australia, then lived in Italy for seven years during which time he became a Christian and was discipled in a Brethren church. Since then, he has lived in England, Australia, USA and New Zealand. He has worked in the capacity of both associate and senior pastor, within two church plants (one successful and one not so), and within established churches. His last appointment before coming to us was as the senior pastor at Hutt City Baptist Church in Lower Hutt, New Zealand.
Rob has a burden for growing and empowering people and teams, equipping them for God’s work, helping churches and organisations embrace vision, and putting processes and structures in place to help them become more effective.
With his European ancestry, and having lived in Italy and the UK, Rob has a heart to see Gospel renewal in Europe.
